Party in the Park Report

Sutton Youth Service hosted their 3rd Party in the Park event on Friday 12th February from 7.30pm - 10pm on St.Helier Open Space.

Youth FM DJs played to 70 young people who all loved that chance to have a bit of a rave on a Friday night. Some young people mentioned that they much prefered taking part in this kind of event, rather than just drinking out on the street!

There was also a Parkour display by a group of young people that went down well.

The Youth Bus was also there and local school nurses joined the event to provide sexual health advice and information that alot of young people took the opportunity for increasing their knowledge.

A big thanks to all Sutton Youth Workers who ran the event, Youth FM crew who laid down the tunes and Wandle Valley PCSOs who turned up to support the event.
